TGEU Strategic Plan 2020-2024

Transgender Europe (TGEU) is a European-based umbrella organisation supporting, fighting, and advocating for the rights of trans people across Europe and Central Asia. TGEU is committed to intersectional justice and trans rights through advocacy, campaigning, researching, community building, and networking with alliances. The organisation represents more than 130 members organisations in 44 countries.

Every 4 years, TGEU develops and updates its Strategic Plan which is voted at the General Assembly by the members. This Strategic Plan is built on exchanges and input with the members of TGEU and trans communities and guides TGEU in its overarching work. 

Strategic Plan Meeting : Open for members only

October 11-13 in Berlin, Germany

From October 11 to October 13, TGEU will cover the costs and trip to 40 of its members (individual and organisation) to join a Strategic Plan Meeting and collectively plan TGEU’s 2020-2024 Strategic Plan.

Reimbursement and costs

The Strategic Plan Meeting is fully covered by TGEU including accommodation, travel costs and food. Travels are to be advanced by the participant and reimbursed after the training. In case this is not possible, TGEU will book transportation.

To participate in the Strategic Plan Meeting, you must:

  • Be a member of TGEU

  • Be able to attend the full meeting

  • Be based in Europe or Central Asia

Access

  • The Strategic Plan Meeting will be held in English with the possibility of translation

  • The venue and accommodation are wheelchair accessible

  • A personal assistant can be covered by TGEU to join the participant’s attendance

  • A child’s attendance can be covered by TGEU as well as providing childcare

  • Access and needs can be communicated in the application form

An online survey designed by an external consultant will be sent to you to collect your input by mid-August.
