Transgender Europe (TGEU) is organising a Capacity Building Seminar for trans* activists and organisations across Europe that will take place in September this year. The event seeks to develop greater capacity and networking within the European trans* movement.
We are asking you to get in touch if your organisation would be interested in hosting this important event, working in partnership with TGEU to ensure the successful planning and organisation of the seminar. The event would take place over 2 days (3 nights), ideally in mid-September, and would have a maximum of 20 attendees, including trainers from TGEU and externally.
Your organisation would be engaged in handling the practicalities and other ‘on the ground’ logistics, such as arranging the venue, meals and accommodation for the attendees. TGEU would lead on developing the content of the seminar and liaise with your organisation for some administrative support in the run up to the event.
This is great opportunity for your organisation to contribute to building a strong trans* movement in Europe and actively support TGEU in working towards this goal. We have seen in previous events that host organisations benefit greatly from positive publicity associated with the event and this has facilitated more fruitful engagement with international and local partners as a result.
The event is financed by the European Commission and generously supported by ILGA-Europe.
