Joint Statement TDoR 2022: Mourning, caring, mobilising
Campaigns are one important tool through which TGEU creates political change for trans people in Europe.
By providing fact-based campaign materials and background information in different languages, and by working closely with its members organisations and allies across the continent, TGEU uses campaigns to mobilise support and action across borders, to raise public and political awareness, and to shape national and European debate on trans issues.
In 2014, TGEU launched its biggest campaign to date, the Access All Areas! Recognition Opens Doors campaign to raise awareness about the importance of legal gender recognition and make progress towards better national gender recognition legislation.
