Transrespect and Transphobia in Europe – event in Berlin

Besides a presentation of the Trans Murder monitoring project and first data of the legal mapping, the seminar places a special focus on the situation in Turkey, where politically active LGBT and trans-movements have to contend with harsh forms of exclusion, hostility and repression. Kemal Ordek, from the TvT-partner organization Pembe Hayat (Pink Life), will attend and report on the situation in Turkey. The film “Pink Grey” on the activism of trans people in Ankara will be shown for the first time in Germany.
