TGEU offers Fundraising Empowerment Programme for EU members
Capacity strengthening of our membership is one of our core purposes at TGEU. Therefore, we’re excited to announce a three-day in-person training programme focused on creating sustainable, well-funded trans organisations. Join us in Berlin this August!
What you’ll learn
- Day 1: Reflect on organisational sustainability: How can we build strong foundations that center individual and collective wellbeing?
- Day 2: Learn about fundraising strategy: How can you create a fundraising strategy that is informed by your organisational needs?
- Day 3 Implement what you’ve learned about grant writing and fundraising: How can you develop impactful projects and alternative funding methods?
Participants will also receive useful resources and tools to support individual and collective learning, reflection, and strategising for your organisations.

We warmly encourage members from further marginalised communities and underrepresented countries to apply. Feel free to share more about your background when completing the application form. All information will be held confidentially.
Overview

- Capacity: 15 participants
- Goals: Strengthen the fundraising capacity, resources, and networks of trans activists, and create a group of peer-supported trans leaders.
- Accessibility: The training will be held in English and co-facilitated with external experts. Please share your accessibility needs in the sign-up form.
- Deadline to apply: Sunday 30 June
There will be a follow-up session in Spring 2025. Confirmed participants will receive more information about this after sign-up. We ask that participants are committed to attending both parts of the programme.
