TGEU’s General Assembly (GA) is at the core of our work. This year we will hold an online General Assembly. The event will take place on 6 September 2025.

On 10 July 2025, eight equality organisations sent letters to the European Commission and to business leaders calling on European companies to resist pushback against diversity and inclusion in employment.

In June 2025, over 15 activists gathered in Geneva for Trans Advocacy Week, held alongside the 59th session of the UN Human Rights Council. Trans and gender diverse activists came from Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Central Asia.

We're looking for an organisation or a group of organisations to host the 10th European and Central Asian Trans Council in 2026.

TGEU celebrates the progress made by the Czech Ministry of Health in issuing new guidelines on legal gender recognition that finally remove the requirement for forced sterilisation.
