Joint statement: The EU must act now to end conversion practices

On 11th of December, over 150 organisations published a joint statement to strongly urge the leaders and institutions of the European Union to take actions toward the elimination of conversion practices.

This is a brief resource introducing the European Health Data Space (EHDS) adopted by the European Union in 2025. This resource tries to answer some basic questions about the EHDS and identifies the advantages and risks of processing trans people’s electronic health data in a shared network.

On this International Day of Action for Trans Depathologisation, we join global movements demanding the full withdrawal of all classifications that treat trans and gender diverse identities as mental disorders.
